Using heavy duty x-weight cloth that is covered in heat-treated Aluminum Oxide grains. These PSA sanding discs are resin bonded. The resin bond is a strong bonding agent which keeps the AO grains on the cloth backing and provides an element of heat resistance as well as pressure resistance and extends the useful life of the disc. The aluminum oxide grains offer a fast cut rate while still remaining economically priced. The X-weight cloth backing is much stronger than a paper alternative and will resist tearing or edge-wear. These aluminum oxide cloth backed PSA sanding disc can be used on a wide variety of materials including wood, all ferrous alloys, and other metals. These adhesive sanding discs are extremely versatile and can be used for sanding, medium grinding, deburring, blending, finishing, and polishing applications. Each PSA or pressure-sensitive adhesive disc features a high strength "peel to reveal" adhesive backing.
