Abrasives Spiral bands are small, round tubes of abrasives, coated with aluminum oxide, zirconia or ceramic grains. It fit onto a rubber attachment (such as a cushion polishing wheel or a rubber slotted expander wheel, both sold separately) for use with a die grinder or rotary drill. The spiral band bands come in a range of widths and lengths to suit different contours and tasks, and are often used for finishing hard-to-reach areas, and removing parting lines and burrs on all surfaces, from fine grinding through to aggressive grinding.
